Vail Valley Live Music Guide: Summer 2026

Your guide to live music events across Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek, Minturn, and Eagle — from free lawn concerts to world-class orchestras.

Summer in the Vail Valley doesn't just mean hiking and mountain biking. From late May through October, the valley becomes one of Colorado's most surprisingly rich live music destinations — and most of it is free.

Whether you're here for a long weekend or the whole season, here's everything you need to know about live music in the valley this summer.

Free Summer Concerts in Vail, Beaver Creek & Avon: 2026 Full Guide

Nine free concert series run throughout the summer, scattered across five towns. Between them, there's almost always something happening within a short drive — often on the same night.

SunsetLIVE! — Avon Sundays, 6–8pm · The Terrace at the Avon Pavilion

Fifteen shows from late May through early September at one of the most beautiful outdoor settings in the valley. Bring a blanket and stay for the sunset.

Seven free Tuesday night concerts at the Ford Amp, running June through September. A Vail Valley tradition since 1987 — consistently ranked among the best free outdoor concert series in the country. No tickets needed, just show up.

Minturn Concert Series — Minturn Thursdays, 6–8pm · Minturn Town Park · Hosted by the Town of Minturn and the Minturn Community Fund

Nine shows from late June through August in a small mountain town that punches well above its weight for live music. Picnics welcome — BYOB, but no glass in the park. Dogs on leash welcome. Blankets and low camp chairs encouraged. The organizers suggest grabbing takeout from one of Minturn's restaurants on your way in.
